May is a profoundly special month. It's a time to celebrate life and pay tribute to one of the most sublime experiences a woman can have: giving birth and becoming the guide of a new life . It's not just about bringing a human being into the world; it's about assuming the responsibility of lovingly shaping, with principles and respect, the generations that will come to transform our society.

Today, as a woman and a mother, I am honored to celebrate every woman who has lived this experience, not only from a biological perspective, but also from the heart. To those mothers who have defended and sustained their families, even in solitude, with unwavering resolve and souls full of hope. To you, who have found in God the wisdom and strength to move forward, to fill difficult days with courage and good days with love.

Being a mother is being a refuge, an example, and a light. It's learning to make decisions with both heart and mind, always seeking the best interests of one's children. It's raising them with values, shaping them with respect, and educating them with purpose. And although our society often seems to neglect these principles, I know that mothers have the power to instill them in every child who grows up under their care.

This month, I want to invite you to celebrate with quality time, long hugs, heartfelt words, and lots of affection. Let's honor our mothers, whether they are physically present or not, because their legacy lives on in our actions, our decisions, and the love we share with others.

To the mothers who have passed away, but whom we know watch over us from heaven, we dedicate our memory full of love and gratitude.
