Hello, my name is Rosa Figueroa , it's a pleasure to greet you.
From a young age, I received an excellent education. My parents always supported me in becoming a good person and a dedicated professional. I began my university studies while already working, starting with a Technical Degree in Professional Journalism , followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences , and later a Master's Degree in Strategic Communication , which I also completed. A few years ago, I decided to take a new direction: I studied for a Diploma in Professional Photography and successfully completed that as well.
Why take photographs?
Once, someone told me, "A photographer? You're going to starve." I replied with conviction, "If that happens, I'll die happy because I'll be doing what I love." And I still believe that. Photography came into my life like a breath of fresh air. In my difficult times, it helped me transform and rediscover myself. I've connected with wonderful people who trust my work and treat me like family.
Along this path, he was fortunate to have mentors and role models who have shaped his development: Flor de María Rosas, Roxana Kawas, Carlos Castañaza, Timoteo Tobar, Oswaldo Samayoa, Samuel Flores, Mario Linares, Emerson Díaz, Adolfo Mejía , among others. From them he learned not only technique, but also passion and commitment.
For several years I have had the privilege of capturing special moments in the lives of many people: quinceañeras, graduations, closing ceremonies, portraits, cultural events, modeling, pets, products, architecture, advertising, anniversaries, community activities and much more.
Video has also been incorporated into my sessions, including editing audiovisual material as part of the service. Today I can say with certainty that the best learning comes from taking photos . Photography is fascinating: it's about preserving forever what once existed only for an instant.
