“De emprendedora a guía de mujeres: La historia de Yaya Vlogs y Socias Chapinas”

“From entrepreneur to women’s guide: The story of Yaya Vlogs and Socias Chapinas”

My name is Jericka Sánchez , although on social media and in my community I am known as Yaya Vlogs .

I'm a marketing professional with a master's degree in Human Resources, and I'm currently an entrepreneur running an online fashion and cosmetics store. But above all, I define myself as a woman who believes in the power of connections .

I am the founder of Socias Chapinas Emprendimientos Guatemala , a community that supports Guatemalan women in developing, structuring, and growing their businesses in practical, supportive, and secure ways. Our goal is clear: to create opportunities for collective success .

I organize bazaars where we bring together more than 50 businesses to showcase their products. We also hold monthly networking breakfasts called "Woman-to-Woman Workshops" with over 50 female entrepreneurs. In these sessions, we share advice, lessons learned, and tools to boost their businesses and accelerate their growth.

In addition, we rent a secure, centrally located parking lot where our members can make their deliveries every Saturday, together and in a supportive community. This system not only simplifies logistics but also reduces the risk of robberies and promotes safety during the sales process.

My dream has always been to help other women become independent, to grow, to discover that success is closer when we support each other. Today I can say that my greatest achievement is not a company, but having built a community of strong women who have become a family .

We want to continue making history, reach more corners of the country, and demonstrate that when a woman starts a business, her entire community flourishes.
