Un sueño que veía lejos, hasta que se me hizo justo este año

A dream that seemed far away, until it came true this year.

There are dreams one keeps deep in their heart like fireflies: they shine, but sometimes seem unattainable. For years I've felt that inner spark that whispers I have things to tell, things to write, things to put into words for the lives of others. I had notebooks, notes on my phone, half-finished texts… ideas that intertwined like threads, waiting to become a finished work. But life, with its rhythm, made that dream of "someday writing a book" seem too distant.

That "someday" arrived this year.

Without seeking it, without expecting it, without imagining that 2025 would give me exactly what I needed to take the leap. I received an invitation that still thrills me: to be part of a team of women who would write a book together about female leadership. It wasn't just a professional opportunity; it was a profound calling, a reminder that my story deserved to be shared with the world and not remain only in my drafts or in my memory.

Writing in community: an unexpected gift

The experience of writing with other women has been transformative. Each one brings her own story, her own voice, her own scars and lessons learned. And together we are building a work that celebrates the strength, authenticity, and leadership that flourishes when women support one another.

The process hasn't been linear—no dream ever is—but it has been profoundly human. I've had to organize my thoughts, revisit old notes, and retrieve paragraphs I wrote years ago that now take on a different meaning. I've cried, I've laughed, and I've been surprised to recognize parts of myself I thought I'd forgotten. And, above all, I've rediscovered my belief in myself.

A step that confirms the path

This book, which will be published in March 2026, represents much more to me than just a publication: it's a personal milestone. It's the sign I needed to understand that writing wasn't a pastime, nor a romantic illusion, but a real calling, a legitimate path, a project I want to embrace wholeheartedly.

I can't reveal too much yet; surprises are best savored when they arrive in their own time. But I can share that this is just the beginning. My dream of writing books is no longer a distant idea: it's a path that has opened up, and I intend to travel it with courage, perseverance, and a heart full of stories.

For you, woman who also dreams

If you too hold onto a dream that feels distant, I want to tell you something from my own experience: keep nurturing it, even if you do so silently. Dreams aren't in a hurry, but they don't die either. Sometimes they're just waiting for the exact moment when you feel ready to receive them.

This year I felt ready. And God answered.
