ACORDES promotes the continuous training of insurance intermediaries and their teams, through a diploma program designed to standardize work criteria in the industry. Guatemala, January 2025. The Guatemalan Association of Insurance and Bonding Brokers (ACORDES) announces the second Diploma Course for Insurance Brokers and Intermediaries, created with the objective of offering quality education focused on the intermediation of different branches of insurance, adapted to the particularities and regulations of the Guatemalan market.

 “We have assembled a group of experts who will be responsible for sharing their knowledge in each area of ​​the program. With this, we guarantee that the industry will evolve thanks to quality education and valuable content, since the diploma program is structured with a practical approach, where participants will be able to solve real-world cases that will allow them to apply the knowledge acquired,” commented Christabel Córdoba, Executive Director of ACORDES.

The diploma program consists of 28 courses distributed across 8 modules, each focused on a specific insurance sector, in addition to the essential business and administrative skills for an insurance brokerage. Some of the topics that will be covered in the in-person classes on Thursdays from 7:30 am to 9:30 am are:

·      Basic legal aspects for insurance brokers

·      Individual life

·      Traditional medical expenses

·      Major medical expenses

·      Damages

·      Bonds

·      Vehicles

·      Sales skills for insurance brokers

·      Operational and administrative skills for insurance brokers
