Cobán, Alta Verapaz, August 2025 – Plaza Magdalena Shopping Center comes alive with joy and memorable experiences throughout the month of August with a diverse schedule of activities designed for families, friends, or couples. From children's parades to sunset parties, Plaza Magdalena invites the community to experience a month full of color, flavor, and entertainment.

One of the most anticipated events is Magdalena Sunsets: Coffee Party Edition, taking place on Saturday, August 23rd, on the terrace of the new phase, across from Cemaco. It will be an experience that blends live electronic music with the magic of a sunset from one of the most privileged spots in the shopping center. The evening will feature a special performance by DJ DoggyStyle, who will provide the soundtrack for an ideal afternoon to relax with friends, enjoy an exquisite selection of coffee and specialty cocktails, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. The event runs from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

For the little ones, on Sunday, August 17th, the Magdalena Kids Club presents a Storytelling Show, a magical afternoon full of laughter, games, and imagination with a special appearance by a character from the De Museo collective. This activity will take place in the Clock Tower area at 3:00 pm and promises to be a fun experience for the whole family.

On Saturday, August 30th, Plaza Magdalena will host the highly anticipated Pink Fashion Show, presented by Princess Boutique. This children's fashion show highlights the best of girls' fashion in an event filled with sweetness and color. The young models will showcase the new seasonal collection, providing families with a stylish and exciting experience starting at 3:00 pm in the Restaurant Area.

In addition, throughout the month of August, registration will be open for the "Niña Plaza" and "Miss Chiquitita 2025" pageants. Young girls will be able to participate in an enriching experience that includes training in modeling, runway walking, body expression, and activities with the shopping center's business partners. Registration will take place at the Courban offices from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
