Guatemala, October 2025.

Next Friday, October 31, starting at 8:00 pm, Casa de Dios will host Lumination, a Christian music festival that invites young people to draw closer to the light of Jesus. The event will take place at kilometer 21.5 on the Carretera a El Salvador highway in Fraijanes, Guatemala, Central America.

The name is based on the Bible verse Philippians 2:15 (RVR1960):

“So that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation, among whom you shine like stars in the sky.”

We used the word Luminaries to create the name Lumination, believing that we are a nation called to be light.

Lumination has been characterized as the largest Christian electronic music event in Latin America, and this year will feature three different DJs and the special participation of Dariana and Niko Eme, both leading figures in the new generation of urban artists in Christian music.

Thousands of young people have helped Lumination in Guatemala and its branches in other countries. Nearly 7,000 young people have accepted the invitation to follow Jesus through Lumination over the years.
