Wine in Guatemala is getting a makeover: Corchos celebrates 20 years with a new image
Guatemala, July 2025 – A few years ago, talking about wine in Guatemala meant talking about special occasions and private moments. Today, the landscape is different, as wine is now part of more tables, stories, and everyday moments. This change has been driven by Corchos, a Guatemalan company celebrating 20 years of cultivating wine culture in the country.
To commemorate this milestone, Corchos unveils a new image that reflects the evolution of its community and the maturity of the local consumer. With a more organic and accessible design, the brand conveys its renewed essence, one that not only sells wine but also connects with people who know how to enjoy life's good times.
Jorge Solís, founder of Corchos, comments that today people are not only looking for quality in a wine, but also an emotional connection with what they consume. “This new image is not just a visual change; it’s our way of expressing that we are closer, more aware, and more ready to toast with purpose alongside our customers,” he explains.
Since its inception, Corchos has not limited itself to offering bottles; it has also dedicated itself to organizing tastings and creating learning spaces, such as its Wine School, so that the wine culture in Guatemala continues to grow with all the necessary foundations to enjoy every glass.
Today, the brand brings together labels from more than eight countries, including iconic wineries from Spain, France, Italy, Chile, the United States, and Argentina. Each wine in its portfolio has been selected for its character and authenticity, thus guaranteeing its quality. This approach has raised the profile of wine in the country and brought the tradition of toasting closer to new generations.
Solís assures us that Corchos' vision remains the same as it was from the beginning: to make wine an intimate, educational, and exciting experience, where celebrating is no longer the exception, but part of everyday life. "It's not enough to have a good product; you have to accompany it with purpose and passion, and this new stage honors our origins, with a forward-looking perspective full of ambition and openness," he affirms.
With this renewal, Corchos reaffirms its mission towards wine culture in Guatemala and, above all, to continue inspiring people to toast with more emotion and history.
