Hugo Díaz, director of UFM ACTON MBA, joins Shark Tank Guatemala to boost entrepreneurship in the country

Guatemala, March 2025. The first season of Shark Tank Guatemala arrives to transform the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem and give emerging entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their projects to a panel of six investors known as " Sharks" .

Among them is Hugo Díaz, director of the Acton MBA at Francisco Marroquín University, whose career has impacted entrepreneurs through an innovative educational methodology and a focus on emerging technologies.

Boosting entrepreneurship

Thanks to an initiative by Guatemala.com , the program opens its doors to 40 Guatemalan entrepreneurs seeking financial support and mentorship to transform their ideas into sustainable businesses. Accompanied by prominent investors, Hugo Díaz will contribute his expertise in training leaders and entrepreneurs with a practical and transformative approach.

The program will be broadcast nationwide on Guatemala TV, available on Claro, Tigo, Cable Color, CableNet, and more than 80 other cable providers. It will also be accessible on the Guatemala Plus digital platform via Smart TVs, smartphones, and at guatemalaplus.com.
