Cobán, Alta Verapaz, June 2025 – Throughout June, Plaza Magdalena is filled with energy, flavor, and excitement to celebrate fathers with a series of activities specially designed to honor them and create memorable family moments. Under the slogan “June: Father’s Month,” the shopping center invites its visitors to participate in unique experiences that also represent an excellent opportunity to boost sales and strengthen the bonds between fathers and children.

On Sunday, June 15th, a fun and flavorful experience awaits at the "Dad Eater" event, a competition where ten dads will put their appetites to the test as they face off to see who can eat a hamburger in the shortest amount of time. The winner will take home cash prizes, and all attendees can enjoy a family afternoon with music, games, and lots of fun. This activity will take place in the parking lot in front of Smartfit starting at 3:00 PM.

On Saturday, June 28th, Plaza Magdalena will offer a unique experience with the Mini RC Crawlers Zone , a 4x4 track specially designed for scale model remote-controlled cars. This exhibition and competition will allow adults and children alike to relive memories, share hobbies, and enjoy special moments together. The event will take place in the Clock Tower area at 3:00 PM.

In addition, on Tuesday, June 17th, fathers visiting the mall will receive a pleasant surprise as a thank you for their special role in our lives. Starting at 2:00 PM, special gifts will be handed out throughout the mall, a simple yet meaningful gesture.
