“Our event brought together leading healthcare professionals as well as national and international exhibitors to discuss the innovations we have made, exchange best practices in cutting-edge medicine, and reflect on person-centered care through empathetic service,” highlighted Margie Bocaletti, Commercial Relations and Marketing Manager.
During this medical congress, recent innovation projects were highlighted, such as the inauguration of the new intensive care notification room to provide privacy and emotional support to critically ill patients; the remodeling of the operating room medical changing area with digital lockers, networking or rest areas equipped with technology devices; and the revitalization of the pediatric play area, with Montessori methodology, to provide a stimulating and safe environment for children who are recovering.
“We redesigned the emergency unit with a centralized nursing station, cubicles that offer comfort and shock or trauma spaces; renovated rooms that integrate rest areas for family members, better lighting, warm finishes and ambiance with signage in common areas under the philosophy of Planetree International at our headquarters in zone 10,” reported Carmen Orellana, Hospitality Services Manager .
Among the most notable acquisitions is the state-of-the-art Valory Digital X-ray system installed at the Zone 14 facility, which reduces radiation exposure, optimizes diagnostic evaluation times, and offers improved image quality. Investments were also made in upgrading technological equipment to ensure efficient performance in daily hospital operations, as part of a vision for continuous and sustainable improvement. This ensures rapid response times and smooth operations in situations where health is paramount. These projects also include the implementation of data analysis using medical evidence to strengthen a safe, reliable, and efficient service.
“As part of the event, we presented the Blue Heart Award to doctors who stood out during the year for their empathy and dedication to professional service with excellence; recognition given by patients of La Paz Hospitals for their satisfactory experience and contribution to their health,” commented María José Figueroa, Patient Experience Manager.
With a decade of innovation and excellence, La Paz Hospital Group reaffirms its commitment to the community of health professionals, patients and families; seeking to implement its Person-Centered Care model in all its medical care locations.
