LA PAZ HOSPITAL GROUP RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION FROM SECURITAS HEALTH CARE FOR INNOVATION IN PATIENT EXPERIENCE

 

La Paz reaffirms its leadership in innovation and continuous improvement in hospitals,

strengthening their capacity for transformation with a person-centered approach

for a decade serving the Guatemalan people.

 

Guatemala, March 3, 2025. La Paz Hospital Group achieves an important milestone in its commitment to excellence, obtaining international recognition awarded by Securitas Health Care for its Innovation in Patient Experience as a model in the Central American region in Person-Centered Care.

 Fernando Magnan López, CEO of Securitas Health Care, recognized for his more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector, presented the international award to Pablo Max Ruiz, General Manager of Hospitales La Paz. The hospital group was highlighted as a leading institution in Guatemala for its innovation in hospital services, transforming the experience of patients and their families during medical care processes, with the goal of contributing to comprehensive health recovery.

During the meeting, Securitas Health Care also certified and recognized 30 leaders from La Paz Hospital Group for their commitment and continuous search for transformative solutions with the goal of providing excellent health care, as well as their dedication to service. 

 

Furthermore, the multidisciplinary team of professionals from the private hospital group participated in the International Innovation & Design Thinking Program for Patient Experience, with the aim of continuing to improve their services. Over several days, participants explored the methodology that will allow them to gain a deeper understanding of patients' needs, redefine challenges, and co-create innovative solutions in the country's healthcare sector.
