UFM Acton MBA presents a program designed for experienced business leaders.

Guatemala, February 18, 2024. The Executive Acton MBA is a program designed for entrepreneurs or executives with more than ten years of experience in their industry, who wish to expand their business knowledge, taking advantage of their professional experience.

The program's central idea is to leverage participants' experiences to establish equivalencies for some essential courses in the Acton MBA in Entrepreneurship curriculum. This will allow students to optimize their time, learn, and utilize new tools in their businesses.

Key elements

This program is positioned as a solution for business leaders who want to make better use of their time and focus on acquiring and using new, functional tools in their business or position. This master's program will last two years and will be taught in person at the Francisco Marroquín University campus.

The Executive Acton MBA follows the same curriculum as the MBA in Entrepreneurship , including courses for all stages of a company's life cycle. It also allows for up to four course equivalencies—two required and two elective—provided the student demonstrates relevant knowledge through experience.

As part of the Executive Acton MBA , participants can optimize their time and enhance their focus as experienced executives or entrepreneurs, gaining access to valuable tools for managing their business.

“This program is offered to strengthen the entrepreneurship and business ecosystem in Guatemala. It also provides an alternative for professionals who want to continue learning and expanding their skills,” said Hugo Díaz, director of UFM Acton MBA .

To be admitted, applicants must undergo preliminary advising to validate their knowledge. Those who do not pass will be considered for the Entrepreneurship MBA program, not the Executive Acton MBA, which is an adapted program designed for entrepreneurs or executives with extensive market experience.

Acton MBA in Entrepreneurship

It is a unique master's program specializing in business and entrepreneurship, offered at Francisco Marroquín University. During this program, successful entrepreneurs and business leaders share their knowledge and experience with students, allowing them to witness firsthand each stage of the entrepreneurial journey.
