Del eco de la vergüenza al susurro del perdón

From the echo of shame to the whisper of forgiveness

Sometimes we act without reason… or with too many reasons.
We make decisions we don't understand, we say things we don't mean, and we end up building a small bunker where guilt repeats its echo and shame puts a padlock on our mouths and stones on our chests.

We remain trapped there, in that invisible "bubble" where the mind punishes, the soul shrinks, and the heart barely breathes. Shame can make us believe that it's all over, that there's no going back, that the mistake defines us forever.

But shame is not a sentence: it is a door.
A door that opens when authenticity calls by our name, when love leaves the light on, when fidelity decides to stay even with trembling hands.

God doesn't shout from heaven, "I told you so."
God whispers “come back”.
And in that whisper lies all the strength you thought you had lost.

Because it's not just about fighting or resisting, but about facing what you did, acknowledging it, and saying, "I will not stay in this cramped room." Shame disarms when we take away the fear: by confessing, making amends, and moving forward again. Forgiveness—both the forgiveness God gives and the forgiveness we learn to give ourselves—opens paths that guilt will never know.

Today, I'm leaving the bubble.
Today I choose truth, love, and fidelity.
Today I let God hold me as I walk towards the light.

"Those who looked to Him were enlightened,
and their faces were not ashamed."

Psalms 34:5
