Reunion Week #1: We're not broken, just tired
There are times when everything feels harder: your spirits dip, your energy runs low, and it seems like something has broken inside. It's easy, on those days, to believe there's something wrong with you. But with time—and with humility—you discover something important: we're not broken… we're just tired .
Tired of carrying everything. Of meeting expectations. Of giving more than we sometimes have. Of putting on a brave face while inside all we want is to stop. And that weariness isn't a failing or a weakness… it's human.
Those who care, those who feel intensely, those who face a thousand battles a day without counting them, also get exhausted. And that doesn't mean they're broken; it means they need a pause, a breather, support. A chance to reconnect with themselves.
I've seen it many times: women who give their all for everyone, but forget to give themselves space. Strong women who don't know how to ask for a break. And that's why today I want to tell you from this place: you're not broken, you just need to take care of yourself .
Returning to yourself doesn't require grand plans. Sometimes, it's enough to stop demanding so much of yourself, to embrace yourself without judgment, to give yourself permission to not be able to do everything. Because your worth doesn't depend on how much you do, but on who you are, even on the days when all you can do is breathe.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28
