Semana del Reencuentro #2: Ser fuerte no significa cargarlo todo

Reunion Week #2: Being strong doesn't mean carrying everything

For years, we've been sold the idea that strength lies in not falling, in enduring, in showing that nothing affects us. And many women have grown up believing that being strong is synonymous with carrying everything without asking for help, without showing vulnerability, without stopping.

But I want to tell you something, with the utmost respect: being strong doesn't mean carrying everything . Being strong also means letting go. It's recognizing your limits. It's knowing when to stop and say, "That's enough." True strength isn't measured by how much you endure, but by how well you take care of yourself.

I've seen admirable women manage families, jobs, emotions, projects… until one day they simply can't anymore. And not because they're weak, but because they're human. Because they, too, need rest, support, space to simply be.

This world demands so much that we sometimes forget we weren't designed to perform forever. Life is also about pauses, silence, and embraces. And asking for help doesn't make you less strong. It makes you real. It connects you. It humanizes you.

I hope this week is a time for you to reconnect with your right to not be able to do everything. To prioritize yourself. To take care of yourself as you take care of everyone else. Because the most beautiful strength is the one that comes from self-love.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
