Quédate solo con la ropa que te haga feliz

Keep only the clothes that make you happy

Control and organize your wardrobe and consciously influence your daily attitude

The impact that clothing has on our mood is greater than we imagine, "Clothing is part of our identity and is also associated with the way we feel."

In my day-to-day life, "What motivates me most in my work is seeing a change in mindset in my clients and having the opportunity to meet exceptional people who today feel happier and more comfortable with themselves."

Whether we stay home to work remotely, take care of the family, or if our daily activities require us to go out and interact in person with other people, how you feel about yourself will determine how you project yourself to others and will greatly influence how they perceive you.

Our interaction with clothing as individuals is linked to our senses and our way of perceiving. A garment can evoke a memory and a stimulus; if that garment makes you happy, you'll be sending that message to your brain, reminding you of positive things and thus elevating your emotional state. Conversely, when people feel bad, they tend to unconsciously choose the least flattering clothes from their wardrobe.

But imagine what would happen if we took control of our wardrobe and organized it, even decluttering it so that the clothes that best suit our mood took pride of place when choosing what to wear. Undoubtedly, we could consciously influence our daily attitude, even in those important meetings where we need to feel confident. This would not only contribute to our emotional state, but those around us would also sense the same positive energy.

Here are 5 tips to keep in mind when choosing clothes for your wardrobe that will make you happy.

  1. Find the one that makes you feel confident: remember that how you feel internally is especially conveyed through non-body language, so avoid wearing clothes that make you feel unsafe, no matter how fashionable they are, who gave them to you, or even what designer they are from.
  2. Always be yourself: even if there are other people wearing the same garment, remember that what will make you different is being yourself, being original.
  3. Forget about boredom: dare to try new looks, have fun choosing your new outfits, if they suit your essence you can do it.
  4. Say yes to the fashion that suits you: The great thing about fashion is that it encourages us to innovate and be ourselves, don't forget, if it suits you, it can go in your wardrobe.
  5. Dare to discard what no longer serves you: No matter how expensive that clothing was, no matter if it reminds you of your first job, if you will no longer use it, it is important that that garment frees up space in your closet for something new that can make you happier.
