The Institute of Vision Sciences (ICV), one of the most renowned institutions for training ophthalmologists and subspecialists in Guatemala, recently celebrated the graduation of its 40th class (2021-2025). On this occasion, nine ophthalmologists and four subspecialists successfully completed their postgraduate studies, receiving certification in various areas of ophthalmology, including cornea, glaucoma, retina and vitreous, retinovascular surgery, and oculoplastics.

Since its founding, the ICV has played a fundamental role in training eye care professionals committed to the well-being of the Guatemalan population.
