CyberDays.gt 2025: Guatemala's most important e-commerce event returns for its seventh edition from October 13th to 17th

        For five days, leading brands will connect with thousands of consumers in a safe, convenient shopping experience with the power to choose from hundreds of online offers.

 

Guatemala, September 18, 2025— The Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (CCG) today announced the seventh edition of CyberDays.gt, the largest e-commerce event in Guatemala. This 100% digital event, unique in its category, has been organized since 2019 by the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (CCG) and its E-commerce Department.

Its main objective is to continue the growth of e-commerce in Guatemala.

“With impressive growth in e-commerce and a significant increase in Guatemalan consumer participation, CyberDays.gt is positioning itself as a platform for brands seeking to expand their online presence and maximize sales,” said María Canahuí, coordinator of the e-commerce department at the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (CCG). Regarding territorial expansion, Canahuí explained that while the metropolitan region continues to lead in e-commerce, 45% of sales now occur in the interior of the country, with the Southwest and Central regions being key areas.

According to the 6th E-commerce Study prepared by the Chamber of Commerce and released this year, online sales in Guatemala grew by 20% in the last year, reflecting a significant change in the consumption habits of Guatemalans.

 

-      Digital purchasing behavior: 85% of respondents have made purchases through social media. Facebook Messenger: 71% WhatsApp: 59% Instagram: 23% and TikTok: 16%

-      Growing categories: Food and beverages, services, pet products, entertainment, streaming content. (Over 70% of respondents are in demand for these categories)

-      Technology trends: Mobile is the main sales channel. This year, greater integration of artificial intelligence, marketing automation, and predictive analytics is projected as competitive advantages for digital companies.
