Lo que callamos en la cama

What we keep silent about in bed

There are silences that weigh more than any words. And one of the most common—though rarely acknowledged—occurs in the most intimate space: the bed . That place where the body speaks, but the mouth often remains silent.

The truth is, we've all felt a desire at some point that we don't dare voice aloud. Out of shame. Out of fear of rejection. Out of thinking that "we shouldn't want that." And so, little by little, we turn our deepest longings into secrets that we swallow along with our daily routine.

Why is it so hard to talk about what we want in private?
Because from a young age we were taught that desire should be discreet, controlled, almost invisible. We grew up believing that asking for pleasure was selfish or vulgar. And without realizing it, we learned to censor ourselves in the very place where we should be freest.

But unspoken desire doesn't disappear. It's kept inside. It's repressed. And sometimes, it turns into distance, dissatisfaction, a silent disconnection that erodes relationships.

What if we dare?
What if, instead of keeping quiet about what we want, we whispered it?
What if we understand that desire is not a sin, but an extension of love, trust, and life itself?

Talking about what we like, what intrigues us, or what we dream about in private should not be a taboo, but a celebration of the bond we share.
Because shared pleasure doesn't begin with the body. It begins with honesty.
And a spoken wish can be much more powerful than a hidden one.

So, the next time you feel something different, something you want to try, something that's on your mind and makes your heart race…
Don't keep quiet about it.
Don't bury it.
Say it.
Whisper it.
Dare to.

Perhaps on the other side, there is someone waiting to hear it too.
