In silence...
There are times when life seems to stop without explanation. Relationships cool down overnight, projects that were going well stall, and we feel like nothing is moving forward. This is known as a karmic pause . It's not a punishment, but a lesson that life places before us to force us to confront what we've been ignoring.
The karmic pause occurs when we follow paths that need correction: patterns we repeat, wounds we haven't healed, or decisions made from the ego. It's that stop that forces us to slow down and confront what we were avoiding. It can hurt because it brings silence, loneliness, and a feeling of emptiness, but behind that pause lies an opportunity for transformation.
During a karmic pause, we confront our deepest fears, those we often disguise with routines, work, or relationships that don't serve us. Life strips away everything that distracts us so we can listen to what's inside. It's a mirror we can't avoid.
How do we overcome it? By accepting that something in our lives needs to change. By listening to the lessons that keep repeating themselves. By healing what hurts and making different, more conscious decisions aligned with our true selves. The pause doesn't end until we demonstrate that we've learned and act differently.
Although it may initially seem like a lost time, it's actually a gift. Because after the pause, everything starts moving again with renewed energy: new doors open, relationships are reshaped, and projects flow once more. It's a time that prepares us to begin another chapter with greater clarity and strength.
The karmic pause doesn't destroy: it rebuilds. It doesn't sink you: it awakens you. It's not the end: it's the beginning of a more authentic life.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.” – Romans 8:28
